Its that time of year again... If you are thinking about doing anything in real estate, this is the time of the year to start planning your next steps. You are probably thinking about who you might want to work with. I own and manage a rental portfolio locally and handle nearly all aspects of my the business myself. When I decided to sell a couple properties I had the tough decision of doing it myself or working with a realtor. With reservation, I met with (or attempted to meet with) several of the "big names" you hear and see plastered around town. As expected, I was so turned off I didn't even think about it again for a few months. When I looked again I reached out to a few of the smaller and boutique brokers with much better results. Ultimately, Stephen won that selection round beating out several other fully qualified realtors. Stephen saw the most eye to eye with me on my visions and goals for the properties I was interested in selling. That was a decision I wont look back on. Stephen is very professional, very available and is very good at pulling the whole picture together. Paperwork is always online, quick and seamless. His recommended title office also nails it and makes my life easy. Stephen is also super personable regardless. We sold the first one last year the first day on the market for over asking, exceeding our goals for that property and more than leveraging the representation cost. He has my Short North building lot listing now and will be listing my next Short North home this spring. I am more than pleased. I don't say that much!
